TIGER GLOBAL CASE COMPETITION 2020 is now accepting registration (Aug. 31 deadline)
The Tiger Global Case Competition brings the business case competition experience, usually reserved for university students, directly to high school students (aged 14 – 18) around the world! It will be held completely online, and is a chance for students to develop and test their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit on the global stage.
WHAT IS A CASE COMP?
A team of students is supplied with a business scenario of a real company facing challenges. Students step into the shoes of management consultants to identify the most prominent issues and craft a solution. Each team has a certain amount of time to develop a strategy to address the key issues and present to a team of judges. The team that presents the best solution wins the competition and has cracked the case!

Case study: Finch, an Australian fintech company whose app helps everyday consumers make payments to friends, acts as a digital wallet, and provides budgeting insights. The Finch app version 1.0 launched in 2017 and mainly focused on social payment features.
Challenge: Craft recommendations for Finch’s next product and go-to-market strategy. Develop Finch 2.0’s key features and support recommendations with facts and data-driven research.
Winning strategies require attention to detail, creativity, and business acumen. Whilst competition formats differ around the world, the essence is for students to emulate industry practices and apply technical knowledge. Case teams must be able to work as a team to present a cohesive recommendation to a mock board of directors who judge their work.
